Well, I will start with my life.  I am 27 years old and the youngest of four.  My parents were married for 42 wonderful years until my dad recently passed away.

 

I am a teacher in San Antonio, TX.  I am beginning my 5th year and I still love it.  I spend my days teaching 8th grade math.  I have a great relationship with my students.  That's very important to me because I feel like it makes my job easier.

I should actually start at the beginning.  I was born in Corpus Christi, TX.  For those of you who don't know, it's on the southern coast.  I miss the water, the wind, the waves (very small waves) and the seagulls (despite what they would always leave on my car). 

 

I attended Mary Carroll High School and graduated in 1998.  I then went straight to college.  I started at Del Mar majoring in Accounting.  My dream was to become a CPA, but then I got bored with it.  I changed over to education after a couple years so I lost some time there.  Well I finally finished in the fall of 2004 (I thought I would NEVER finish).  In fact, I believe the reason it snowed on Christmas that year was because I finally graduated!

 

I moved to San Antonio on December 26, 2004 and have never looked back since.
